Scholarship

Scholarship is very important to the sisters of the Alpha Gamma chapter. Every year, the ladies of Phi Mu strive to excel in their studies--receiving scholarships, academic awards, and invitations to academic honorary socities across campus.

We celebrate our awesome academic accomplishments in several ways. Each semester we hold a Dean's List dinner and we also hold a weekly raffle at our Chapter meetings, for sisters who have received excellent grades during the current school week.

Kara Hummer, our Academic Excellence Chair, is a great encouragement to our chapter. She helps sisters with the process of finding a study partner, planning chapter-wide study breaks during finals, and writing the girls encouraging notes.  

In college it is important to find the right balance between extracurricular activities and academics and it helps when your sisters are there to help you along the way!
